What's better than working on a 73 240z? Working on a 73 240z when you're supposed at be at work!
Took a package of sandpaper and a can of dark gray primer and sanded and painted every last inch of surface rust and exposed bare metal.
I re-sanded most of the ugly brown primer spots and got all up underneath her where the previous owner must have gotten shy. I am VERY pleased with the level of rust I found. Very little metal has had it's integrity compromised by rust. Again, for a 37 year old Datsun 240z in the north east, I am thanking my lucky stars.
Check the progress. (Strategically lit photos! :D)
