Whoa. Picklex'd the whole car (almost)?
ha ha yeah. I have to do body work in 2-3 hour sections and need to keep the surface rust in check. If you look right above the rear driver side marker you can see some rust that it converted. Also a big one by the antenna hole.Seems to work well. A standard automotive primer will spray right over it too.
How much was that tin of paint remover? Would you recommend it?
I got it at Ace in Lowell for $24. Cheapest Ive seen it. And this is by far the best stripper product I've ever used.Be careful though. Definitely ventilate with a fan or something and a facemask if you are using a lot of it.The best way to apply it is with a natural fiber paintbrush. Just slather it on, wait about fifteen minutes and watch it peel.
Woah! I live in Dracut right next to Lowell. Small world...I'll have to pick some up, I used to use the gel version of Aircraft Stripper and that worked okay.
Thats awesome. I love hearing from locals!Yeah I used the aerosol aircraft stripper from Rustoleum and it SUCKED compared to this. I straight up returned it.I dig your blog man.- Alex
