Now that I am a couple weeks away from finishing breakdown, I am finding myself contemplating color schemes and horsepower/torque goals, what materials to use for certain custom components etc.

Not too much planning required for a tear down. At least not from a technical perspective. But a build up needs to be properly calculated from the start.
