Overall Exterior Condition

Actually... not too bad.

As I'm sure you can imagine, picking up a Japanese car from the 70's with little to no rust on the east coast is damn near impossible. In fact, I think the only way you could pull it off is if someone either recently shipped it here for you, or if they kept it in their garage for 30 years. The best possible specimen I could find in my meager price range was this.

One blotchy bitch! :D
Most of the surface rust had been either sanded or ground down by the previous owner. Most of the bare metal spots had been tagged with a primer of some sort.

A few bare metal spots on the doors.

Missing antenna.

Bumpers are intact for the most part. Few dents here and there but nothing major.

Nasty missing paint and surface rust. Looks like were going to be in for quite the body work lesson!

And she has definitely been painted before. Not the best job, but I have seen much worse. Here is a pic of where there must have been some chrome trim or something.

Not a lot of rust. The previous owner had kept it in his garage and obviously knew what he was doing. It was obvious that he was selling because of a lack of time to work on her. She still needs quite a bit of TLC before she's presentable though.
